Employee branding takes a meeting of minds | CMO Diaries

As a CMO, you're not just responsible for how your brand operates externally, you also need to develop the brand culture for employees to keep them aligned and passionate about working with you. But that takes alignment with all the senior leadership, which is why Andrea is back with us to share why it was important to bring all the leaders together in one place (despite coming from many different countries) to really hammer this out.

Creating employee branding and culture is often the responsibility of CMOs, but it shouldn't be done alone. As Andrea explains, it was important to work on this with all members of the senior leadership team.

Key talking points

  • Why it's important to have a strong employee brand and culture.

  • How to develop them so they align with senior leadership's outlook.

  • The importance of personal interaction and collaboration.

From Chaos to Opportunity - Helping FS Marketing Leaders Thrive in 2021 | LinkedIn

In January, Clear M&C Saatchi published ‘From Chaos to Clarity’, a white-paper giving marketers new tools to help navigate the chaotic world in which we’re operating.

In this session, we dive into findings from our new companion piece – ‘From Chaos to Opportunity’ – a deep dive into the challenges and opportunities for FS marketers to drive the commercial agenda within their organisations.

The past year has been tumultuous for all sectors, however financial services has seen existing trends – digitalisation, changing consumer behaviour and regulatory and economic changes – dramatically accelerate.

Our data suggests FS marketers are suffering from a lack of clarity over their role in the organisation, which often leads to them focusing in the wrong areas. At the same time, FS CEOs are looking to marketers to help provide clarity for how to prosper, not just through compelling communications to drive acquisition and loyalty, but also through innovation and new product and service development which capitalise on change.

Join us and panel of senior FS marketers to review the findings of the study and discuss practical strategies to help you take advantage of this opportunity in your role.

Featuring:

Pam Piligian - SVP, Marketing & Communications at Navy Federal Credit Union
Andrea Linehan - CMO at CurrencyFair
Laura Cholerton - Director, Head of Financial Services Practice at Clear M&C Saatchi
Hosted by Geraint Jones, Global Marketing Director at Clear M&C Saatchi
